Support Strawtown

Children Need Strawtown’s Hands-on Learning More Than Ever Before!
We are faced with an opportunity to thrive, or a challenge too big to survive.
What’s at risk?
- Strawtown’s 20 years of innovative nature art programs that make a difference in thousands of people’s lives
- Programs for youth in under-served communities
- The new model for water education
- Leading stewardship actions to protect our waterways
The Strawtown community of children, families, educators, artists, and community leaders will be impacted by the loss of our programs.
Actions we are taking:
- Facilitator Trainings are now underway for teaching artists, educators, parents, and youth leaders to provide Strawtown programs to their learning groups and communities. With both in-person and distance learning, the Strawtown teaching methods, guidebook and curriculum materials are being passed on to trained facilitators so that more people can benefit from the hands-on nature art experiences wherever they are!
- We are also supporting families and learning groups with the NatureArt Adventure Box Program, putting the activities and art materials literally in their own hands! We are building a creative online community with virtual open studios and share spaces.
With your support we can make a world of difference
Please donate to keep our Strawtown programs alive. We are prepared to work hard to move through this all together. Your support will make all the difference now and for the future!
