Strawtown’s programming is place-based. Wherever we are we are interested in the beauty and workings of the unique area.

We teach from a number of outdoor and indoor studio sites in the lower Hudson Valley, 30 miles from New York City. We also bring our programs on the road to nature centers, schools, events, and community groups. Invite us to your place!

OUR HOME BASE & TEACHING SITES

Marydell Faith and Life Center, Studio

640 North Midland Ave, Nyack, NY 10960

Located at the base of Hook Mountain, near Nyack Beach, on the wide bays area of the Hudson River. This site features river, mountain, meadow and woods. This is our primary in-person teaching site for our summer program and educator workshops.
