Back to School : Back to Skills!
For ages 10 – 15
Does your pre-teen like to make things, spend time outdoors, hang out with friends?
This program is designed for 10 – 15 year olds, during their transition from late childhood to early adolescence. It’s the place to learn mastery of skills, explore personal expression, develop confidence, and discover an authentic identity in a caring, creative community.
In this lightly structured class, we allow space and time for exploration, and experience the timelessness of the natural world. This Strawtown program is sure to stimulate and nurture the creative expression of our next generation of conscientious artists!
Creative problem-solving, social time, skill-building and advanced tool use (like woodburning, exacto blade cutting, whittling, firemaking, etc).
